POPSART
An archive of over 600 interviews over six years. POPSART is a significant cultural, historical and social documentation of the creative scene in Australia.
Bec Mac takes viewers to the heart of the arts via often live, video-documented one-on-one interviews with creatives at their openings, exhibition, launches, studios, awards, and other events.
She has worked with everyone from QAGOMA, Cairns Indigenous Art Fair, Opera Queensland, Sydney Contemporary to name a few and individual artists such Richard Bell's Embassy 2019 Venice Biennale and Jacqui Stockdale's Archibald project.

The core of artist, journalist and creative entrepreneur, Bec Mac’s work is unifying communities through critical conversations and meaningful experiences as an artist, creative producer, presenter, and arts journalist.
QCA graduate Bec Mac’s legendary live art event LOVE TV spans twenty years of activations and presentations and was presented Internationally in partnerships with multiple City Councils including the 5 borough of the City Of New York and recently at The Cairns Festival 2022.
Bec Mac has extensive experience in media production and broadcasting as the host of Friday Neon Radio 4ZZZ premiere arts and culture show for five years and a regular on ABC radio, in 2013 & 2015 she wrote and produced The Bec Mac show for Channel 31. She is an Emcee hosting events such as The National Homelessness Summitt 2022 and Opera Queenlsand's season launch and a moderator working with Brisbane Writers Festival since 2017 and Women on The World Festival - WOW BITES.
As founder of "POPSART; Content Creator Conversation Curator" she revolutionised the way audiences engage with the arts through spontaneous, insightful interviews with artist at their exhibition’s openings and launches. POPSART collaborators have included QAGOMA, UQ Art Museum, Museum Of Brisbane, Opera QLD, and Inner-West Council Sydney, Richard Bell for Embassy 2019 Venice Biennale, Cairns Indigenous Art Fair and Women Of The World Festival including their recent regional tour.
As a response to the 2020 pandemic Bec Mac launched Chrysalis Projects with Carmel Haugh; to make meaningful art in public places while employing artists, connecting community, and building a circular economy around the arts. Projects include the landmark Vernon Ah Kee Mural wrapping around Avid Reader bookstore in West End and the highly successful Arts Against Gendered Violence Campaign; Inner Circles.
Her work is unique and sits at the intersection between the creative community, broadcast media, activism, the urban environment, cultural organisations, government, community engagement and the philosophy and outcomes of Placemaking.
